What is SCRIP?

One of the easiest ways to raise funds for critical classroom materials and PTA programs is to use SCRIP. SCRIP is like a gift card. You purchase it from your school’s PTA and use it at the designated store or restaurant just like cash. The retailer returns a percentage of the SCRIP purchase (usually 2%-15%) directly back to Bacon Elementary.

Who accepts SCRIP?

Your favorite grocery stores, department stores, specialty stores, and restaurants all accept Safeway, Best Buy, Home Depot, Chili’s, Starbucks, Cinemark, and many, many more! Although the order form shows a list of retailers proven popular with Bacon families, you can order from other retailers on the SCRIP program as well. How do I get started?

To place an order, print off the SCRIP order form and mark the card(s) you’d like to receive. Make your check payable Bacon PTA and return the form and check to school. Orders will be placed at least once each month. Please contact Staci Miller with any questions.
