The Bacon Beacon is published by the Bacon Elementary School PTA and is distributed the last week of each month.  Please email copies of articles to Denise Johnson or contact her for more information.  Deadlines for article submissions for the Beacon are as follows:

Bacon Beacon Newsletter is GOING GREEN!

Starting with the 2011-2012 school year, our Bacon Beacon Newsletter by the PTA will no longer print a hard copy of its newsletter for each Bacon Family. Instead a copy will be placed here, on our web-site,www.baconpta.org, and an e-mail sent to Bacon families whom have signed up to receive it with the newsletter attached. Bacon was built as a green school, and this is our way to support it.

With this initiative, we will be helping the environment by eliminating approximately 25,000 pieces of paper per year! Plus, the PTA will save approximately $1,000 that can be used to support other programs within the school this upcoming year year. Please sign up for our E-newsletters.   

Advertising

We encourage families of the Bacon community and local businesses to support the Bacon Elementary School PTA by advertising in the monthly newsletter.  The cost is $30 per issue for a business card ad.  Please fill out the form below and send it in to the school office.
